Garth Brooks Hints at Big Announcement During Upcoming Virtual Press Conference

Garth Brooks apparently has some big news, and he’s soon going to share all of it on social media. The country music icon revealed during his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook series, that he had an announcement to make, and everyone is invited to watch.

“This Wednesday, 10 AM Central — that’s Nashville time — we’re gonna bring you into a press conference,” Garth said, adding his last one was when he announced his Stadium Tour at Notre Dame in 2018. “This one’s going to be a lot more … intimate. And dealing with something not as commercial as that, but something a little more along the personal lines meets career lines.

“This should be a pretty good thing,” he continued. “And you’re surrounded with the Nashville press, which are the sweetest people on the planet. They’ve always taken care of me, even when they didn’t like what I was doing, they’ve always been very respectful in how they stated that.”

Garth previously revealed his upcoming album, Fun, is already finished, but he doesn’t know when he will release it, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fun is coming. Fun is done,” Garth said. “We’re waiting for the right time for us to kind of get to enjoy it and have fun with it. But also — something else might be coming with Fun that’s pretty cool that will wrap up several years of Inside Studio GFun is coming, but might also be sitting side-by-side with something that’s pretty cool.”

The Country Music Hall of Fame member wants to share the music with his fans, but wants to be sensitive to those who are struggling.

“I don’t want to be the guy that tries to do something in the midst where everybody is hurting,” Garth stated. “The album’s ready to go. It’s just how do you get out and promote and be happy and jolly while everybody’s out there fighting for their lives not only physically, but fighting for their lives financially.”

The virtual press conference will take place on Wednesday, July 29, at 10:00 AM CT, and will be available on Garth’s Facebook page.
