Home Free Enlists The Help Of Their Fans Ahead of ‘So Long Dixie’ Release

Millions of people know Home Free‘s music, but it isn’t because they have the support of a big record label or large publicity team. The five-man group works hard, on their own, to make sure their music is heard, which is why they are reaching out to their fans for help, ahead of the release of their So Long Dixie album, out on Friday, November 4.

Home Free shared in an email their hope that their fans would rally to help propel So Long Dixie onto the charts when it is released.

“This is it. This is the week. SO LONG DIXIE, our new album, is out on Friday,” Home Free writes. “And we’re calling in all the favors. Our last few albums have made the Billboard Country Album Sales Charts on their debut week, and this week we have some serious competition. We’re an independent band, no label. Just our music, you — our fans — and us fighting to make it together. If our music has ever helped you get through a tough time, helped you enjoy your day a little bit more, or even just put a smile on your face, we are asking for some help.

“As many of you know, a great way to gain exposure and to grow our fanbase is by charting on Billboard,” they continue. “The first week is our best and likely only chance of that happening, as it factors in all the pre-order copies from our store.”

To help encourage fans to pre-order So Long Dixie, Home Free is also entering everyone who pre-orders the record or pre-orders a bundle option into their flyaway contest, where the group will fly the winner and a guest to any show, and allow them to hang out backstage and meet all of the Home Free members.

Home Free has already shared a few songs from their new record, including “What’s Left Of My Heart” and “Save the World.”

Home Free is currently on their Road Sweet Road Tour, which will be followed by their ambitious Home Free Family Christmas Tour. The holiday tour plays 23 dates across the country, joined by an impressive list of opening acts, including Texas HillCaroline JonesBrooke EdenAbby Anderson and Ernie Halter.
