Kane Brown currently has the No. 1 song in the country, with “Woman.” The feel-good tune is part of his next studio album, which he reveals has a duet with the iconic Shania Twain.
“It’s kind of the male version of ‘Who’s Bed Have Your Boots Been Under,'” Brown reveals on Country Countdown USA. “At the ACMs, we met up backstage. I went to her dressing room, asked her if she had heard the song. She said, ‘Yeah, heard it, love it.’ So we got it cleared right there.”
In a separate interview, the father of three said his new set of tunes would be unlike anything he released in the past. His last record, The High Road, came out in early 2025.
“I’ve been all over the place with it, wanting to write songs or stories,” Brown says on The Bobby Bones Show. “Wanting it to sound old school, not just country, but different sounds, like 50s-type music. And then I have been talking to people, and they’re like, ‘Bro, your album doesn’t have to sound cohesive. You haven’t had one album sound cohesive. Why do it now?’ And I was like, ‘You’re right.'”
During a recent concert, the 32-year-old dropped a few more hints about what fans could expect from his new record.
“I’m really excited about this album,” Brown boasts (via Holler Country). “I’ve honestly had to push it just because I was trying to get all the right songs and I wanted everything to be cohesive.”
“You’re gonna hear some old-school-sounding songs mixed with some new-school-sounding songs,” he shares, adding that he might “throw one hip hop song on there”.
Brown also appears on “Never Been In Love,” a song from Lauren Alaina‘s Stages album, out now.

Brown is the proud father of three children: six-year-old Kingsley, four-year-old Kodi, and Krewe, who is two years old. After having his two daughters first, Brown is learning about life with a son.
“He’s just a boy,” Brown says. “He loves cars, he loves dinosaurs, he loves to fight. You tell him to put his hands up, and immediately they go up. Kodi is a wild child. Loves to run. Has a lot of energy. Kingsley is six going on 17. Very mature. She’s the entertainer, loves to sing. She’s also great at softball. I think Krewe’s gonna be really good. I’d like them to start golfing. You don’t need a team, and you can play anywhere. That’s kind of the goal right now.”
Brown and his family recently made a big move, getting a new house in Florida.
“So we got all moved in, living there like a family,” Brown says. “Nice little community, so I feel normal, not isolated. I run into people in the neighborhood. Get to have normal conversations.”
