Morgan Wallen recently announced he was brining back his Sand In My Boots Festival for a second year in 2027, and now we know who will be performing. Wallen will headline the three-day event, along with Kings of Leon and Ella Langley. Other performers include Cole Swindell, Avery Anna, Gavin Adcok, Midland, Carter Faith, and more.
“One thing I’m looking forward to the most about bringing Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself and other artists on the bill,” Fallen shares. “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”
Other country performers include Koe Wetzel,, Midland, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, Corey Kent, and Vincent Mason. In addition, Wallen is leaning into his love hip-hop with Nelly, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Project Pat, Ying Yang Twins, and Flo Rida scheduled to perform. Also, electronic music’s Kygo, Empire Of The Sun, and Girl Talk, plus alternative rock icons Third Eye Blind, will perform.

What We Know About Morgan Wallen’s Sand In My Boots Festival
Wallen’s Sand In My Boots festival will be held May 21 to 23 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The event will be Wallen’s second Sand In My Boots event. After launching it in 2025, Wallen took a break this year, before announcing its return in 2027.
The idea for the inaugural Sand In My Boots festival came from AEG’s Executive Vice-President Stacy Vee and Morgan Wallen’s booking agent, The Neal Agency’s Austin Neal. Vee saw Wallen perform “Sand In My Boots” at Stagecoach in 2024, and couldn’t get the idea out of her head. They approached Wallen with the idea of a festival, which he was already considering on his own.
“When the idea of Sand in My Boots started becoming a reality, it was extremely important to me to build a festival of artists that I enjoy and listen to regularly,” Wallen tells Billboard in 2025. “Having a blend of different genres was exciting and I hope fans feel the same way.”
Perhaps surprisingly, Wallen didn’t intend to create a multi-genre musical event, at least at first.
“We didn’t come up with this idea trying to fill a gap, but I believe that is what we have done,” Wallen says. “We created a festival that was centered around my country culture and that just so happens to include a variety of sounds. Sand in My Boots really was born out of building something that I was proud of, and also having a festival that these artists enjoy coming to.”
Sand In My Boots quickly sold out, proving to Wallen, and others, that fans were interested in a multi-genre music event.
“I think it’s just a testament to all the teams involved that helped build and deliver a bill that fans were excited to check out,” Wallen says. “I wasn’t worried, more so curious how they would respond, and I am extremely grateful they responded the way they did by selling it out that fast.”
Passes for the 2027 Sand In My Boots festival will be on sale beginning on Friday, November 6 at 10AM CT. Registration is available at SandInMyBootsFest.com.
