Scotty McCreery, Cam and More Part of Ryman’s First-Ever Livestream Event

Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium will host their first-ever livestream series, called Live at the Ryman, featuring Scotty McCreery, Cam, Brett Young and more. The six-week event, which will begin on Friday night, August 14 with For King & Country, will be available to fans at home as a way to slowly return to live shows in Music City.

“Our company has prioritized the health and safety of our employees, customers and artists since day one of the pandemic,” Colin Reed, chairman and CEO, Ryman Hospitality Properties, said in a statement. “This unique live music experience represents the next step in our commitment to doing things the right way while also creating a repeatable model that will allow artists and fans to connect during this bridge period until a vaccine or treatment for COVID-19 is available.”

Live at the Ryman was developed by Opry Entertainment in tandem with the company’s official wellness advisor, Vanderbilt Health. The series was designed as a way to allow fans, from all across the globe, to experience live music safely during the coronavirus pandemic. A limited amount of guests may also be invited to enjoy the shows in person, dependent on the latest updates from health officials.

“Both fans and artists are eager to once again feel the energy and excitement that concert venues foster, but we must prioritize health and safety as we reimagine live entertainment today,” said Scott Bailey, President of Opry Entertainment Group. “Our team has developed a turn-key way for artists to connect directly with their fans. We hope that this series will be the first of many shows to use this model in the months ahead.”

To keep employees, artists and potential guests safe, the Ryman will both increase cleaning practices, and require masks among all Ryman Auditorium staff. The same team that produces the Grand Ole Opry‘s Saturday night shows will also be producing the Live at the Ryman series.

Tickets begin at only $10, with a six-week series pass only $50. Tickets will be available at Ryman.com beginning on Monday, August 10, at 10:00 AM CST. See the entire schedule below.
