A new album is coming from The Oak Ridge Boys! The historic group just announced the release of Buried Treasures, a ten-track record that includes some of The Oak Ridge Boys’ favorite songs, including “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “How Great Thou Art,” “What a Wonderful World,” and more.
“Every song on the album is about something that’s dear to us,” Duane Allen says. “These songs are all buried treasures — great songs we’ve loved and sung for years, and this is the first time we’ve brought them all together on one record.”
“It was a lot of fun, reaching back to some of these classic songs,” William Lee Golden adds. “I feel like this album touched on our love of life, love of family, love of our mates that we’ve chosen in life, and also the love of God.”
One original song, “Buried Treasure,” also appears on the project, written by Aaron Raitiere.
“The Oak Ridge Boys are country music legends,” Raitiere says. “I’m honored they’ve recorded my songs.”
“Buried Treasure” is available now. The record, produced by Anderson East and executive produced by Dave Cobb, will be available on October 30.
The Oak Ridge Boys’ Richard Sterban Diagnosed With Cancer
The Oak Ridge Boys’ Richard Sterban has been battling his own health struggles. One year ago, Sterban revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer.
“In March of this year, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer,” Sterban shared in 2025. “But I am under the care of the best cancer doctors in the country and, with the help of the good Lord above, I believe I will be able to get through this.”
“I want to thank everyone, especially the fans, for your concern, and I would appreciate your continued prayers,” he added.

Not only do The Oak Ridge Boys have new music coming out, but they also have a busy tour schedule. The quartet is spending much of the next few months on the road, including several dates at the Grand Ole Opry.
“We will go until we can’t, and I think we all came here enjoying The Oak Ridge Boys,” William Lee Golden tells Everything Nash. “There was a great singer standing in the spot that we stood on, and the torch was passed to each one of us. And I think that it’s our obligation to actually pass the torch to a new generation when it’s time. We can go as far as we can and with the success and the acceptance of the audience, like Ben James is being accepted out there. He’s not Joe Bonsall. No one is Joe Bonsall but Joe Bonsall. But he’s Ben James.”
