Chevel Shepherd is getting married! The Season 15 winner of The Voice announced her engagement by sharing photos of the proposal on social media.
Shepherd posted the sweet pictures on June 18, which happened to be her 21st birthday.
“You’re looking at [the] future Mrs. Garcia!!” Shepherd captioned the photos. “God put us together and He sure did bless me with the most amazing, loving, kind man ever. I love you so much, and I’m so excited to marry you and spend forever with you.”

Garcia, who goes by Junior Garcia on Instagram, commented on Shepherd’s photos.
“I love you beyond words can express!” he said. “You give me life, and make me feel like I can accomplish anything when I’m with you! Thank you for being the most supportive and amazing girlfrie.. I mean fiancé.”
Shepherd previously shared photos of Garcia on social media, after he graduated from college with a degree in business administration.
“My love graduated today with his associates in business administration,” Shepherd wrote, showing Garcia in his cap and gown. “I’m so proud of you, and so happy I get to experience all of these accomplishments with you. I love you! Congraduation my love.”

Shepherd was just 16 years old when she won The Voice in 2018. Since then, Shepherd has been recording and performing music, including her “Lookin’ for Loretta” single, honoring the late Loretta Lynn — and earning high praise from Lynn’s family as a result.
“We are such huge [Chevel Shepherd] fans,” the family said when “Lookin’ for Loretta” was released. “She won our hearts singing mom’s songs on American Idol [sic]. “Mom was so proud to meet her and cheer her on when Chevel came as her guest to her big birthday bash at Bridgestone. We love this new song!”
Shepherd later commented on their tribute, saying, “I grew up loving Loretta and I am so blessed to get to honor her on this new song. I dedicated this song to Loretta when I recorded it and that still holds true. I love you,”
