Tim McGraw is still several months away from the opening night of his 2024 Standing Room Only Tour, but he’s already added more dates, due to fan demand. The Louisiana native has added 11 dates to his already packed tour schedule, in response to ongoing requests by his loyal fans.

“You asked for it… so we added more shows from coast to coast!” McGraw announced on social media. “Can’t wait for the Standing Room Only Tour 2024 with special guest Carly Pearce. Tickets for new shows on sale this Friday 9/29 at 10:00 AM local.:

 

McGraw announced his Standing Room Only Tour in July, later hinting that the tour will be unlike anything fans have seen from him in the past.

“It’s the first time we’ve done an arena tour in a long time,” McGraw told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m looking forward to it. We’ve got some crazy spectacular production I’m looking forward to everybody seeing. This is probably one of the coolest productions we’ve ever had. We’re gonna blow it out.”

There might be a lot of fun production on his Standing Room Only Tour, but one thing McGraw says there won’t be a lot of is fire, due to his own misgivings.

“I’m not a big pyro guy,” McGraw admitted. “I’m scared to death. I know myself enough that I move around all over the place and sure enough, I’ll be standing right over one of those things when it goes off. We don’t need that. I’d light my a– on fire.”

The Standing Room Only Tour is in support of McGraw’s latest Standing Room Only album, out now.

“We all make mistakes, and we’re going to make mistakes, and we’re going to do bad stuff,” McGraw told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. “And all you can do is try to get up the next day and be the best you can be that day, and know you’re going to screw up again later down the road. You got to figure out how to put that behind you.

“And I’m lucky because music is cathartic and for me. It’s my therapy,” he added. “So, to be able to go in the studio and have these great songs and sort of work out your emotional baggage through these songs is a blessing.”
