Trisha Yearwood, Lee Brice Among ACM Party For a Cause Performers

The Academy of Country Music is returning with their annual Party For a Cause, this year held on Tuesday, August 24, at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, with proceeds benefiting their charitable Lifting Lives program. Trisha Yearwood and Lee Brice have been announced as performers, along with Brett Eldredge, Mickey Guyton, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion and Tenille Townes, with more artists expected to be announced in the near future.

“ACM Lifting Lives is thrilled to be back and celebrating Party for a Cause with a historic debut in Nashville,” Lyndsay Cruz, ACM Lifting Lives Executive Director says. “ACM Lifting Lives has worked tirelessly this year in finding innovative ways to raise funds virtually for the ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund – successfully distributing more than $3.5 million to members of the Country Music community in need. While we are proud of the aid we have been able to provide, we are excited to rock Nashville and to once again lift lives with the power of music. Party for a Cause is a terrific celebration of live music and charitable giving and we look forward to bringing it to Music City for the first time while welcoming back all our fans.”

Lady AAshley McBrydeLee Ann WomackLauren Alaina, HARDYChris JansonSara EvansRaeLynn and Devin Dawson will perform. I look forward to a night of honoring the best in Country Music on August 25!”

The ACM Honors are being held four months after the ACM Awards were also held in Nashville, for the second year in a row, due to the pandemic.

“The Academy is excited to be back in Nashville with our star-studded 14th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors celebration and to welcome ACM Award winner Carly Pearce as our host,” adds Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, says. “We look forward to having industry and fans join us as we recognize the significant accomplishments of our 55th and 56th Studio Recording Awards, Industry Awards, Songwriter of the Year and Special Awards winners with a night of unforgettable performances.

“A special congratulations to all of our winners and honorees, and a huge thank you to all of our performers, partners and the Country Music community for joining us to celebrate them together at the Ryman,” he adds.
