Trisha Yearwood Lists Historic Nashville Home For $4.5M: See the Photos

Trisha Yearwood is selling her historic Nashville home, for $4.5 million. The home, which she purchased in 2000, is located on Concord Road in Brentwood, a suburb of Music City.

“When I bought this house in 2000, I was looking for a place that would be my sanctuary,” Yearwood tells People. “The minute I stepped foot inside, I knew this was the place. Even when I moved to Oklahoma, I just couldn’t part with this house. Garth [Brooks] and I would make the house home base when we were in Nashville working on music or visiting friends.”

Yearwood’s home is also where she filmed 11 of the 17 seasons of her award-winning Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.

“[It] became the perfect place to film Trisha’s Southern Kitchen,” Yearwood says. “A lot of shows have to shoot in sets that are made to look like home, but Concord Road really was my home, so it just felt right.”

The Grand Ole Opry member also hosted several of her famous friends in her home, as part of her Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, including Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini and more.

“Everyone loved filming there too because it was so comfortable,” she adds.

Not only does her home hold memories of the numerous parties, dinners and events she hosted, but it is also where she made her first home-cooked meal for Brooks — fettucinne alfredo — in the early days of their relationship.

“It’s bittersweet to sell this place that means so much to me,” Yearwood says, adding that she is ready for  “someone else to live in it and love it as much as I do. It’s time.”

Yearwood’s gated home is 6553 square feet. It sits on 4.42 acres, and has five bedrooms and seven full baths. The home boasts three fireplaces, an elevator, a formal dining room, and an owners suite on the main floor, with two separate bathrooms and a porch.
