Home Free Drops Contemplative ‘Give Me A Sign’ Video [WATCH]

Home Free has a new video, “Give Me A Sign,” out now. The song is the first of a three-part Stargazer Trilogy that five-man group plans on releasing next.

The “Give Me A Sign” video, which they labeled as Chapter 1, is filmed at night, and concludes with Home Free hinting that the story would be continued.

“Give Me A Sign” is from Home Free’s latest album, So Long Dixie, released last fall.

“Downtime these past couple years combined with inspiration from touring again, got Tim [Foust] and Austin [Brown] writing,” Home Free said of their latest project when it was released. “We all listened and had an idea. We thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do something different and uniquely ours. This collection of songs we feel not only tells great stories, but still holds true to our style you all know and love.”

Known for their covers of some of the biggest hits, of all genres, through the years, all of the songs on So Long Dixie, like “Give Me A Sign,” are originals.

“Give Me A Sign” follows Home Free’s recent collaboration with Brooke Eden on “Delta Dawn.”

“We love diving back into our roots, hitting on old country classics like this,” Home Free said of the song. “‘Delta Dawn’ was originally sung by Bette Midler in 1971 and popularized by Tanya Tucker in ‘72 . The song has always tugged at our hearts, and we felt there was nobody better to help us do it justice than [Brooke Eden].”

Whether releasing covers or originals, Home Free credits their success to their loyal fans, many of whom have followed them since the beginning.

“There’s an infectious nature to the fanbase that, when they watch our video or they come to a  show, they just feel good,” Adam Rupp tells Everything Nash. “They feel good about themselves, and they just wanna keep that feeling. So, it is contagious to other people then. And then they jump on, and they just wanna keep coming back, and keep experiencing these good feelings that we provide altogether.”
