Vince Gill Announces Summer Tour With ‘The Voice’ Alum Wendy Moten

Vince Gill fans are in luck. The Country Music Hall of Fame member just announced he will embark on an 18-date summer tour, kicking off on July 7 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Voice alum Wendy Moten will serve as Gill’s featured guest.

Gill, who has been part of the iconic rock band, the Eagles, since 2017, is looking forward to headlining his own shows, especially after having all of his live music performances put on pause because of the pandemic.

“When all touring stopped back in March of 2020, it was a good time for me to take a break from the road,” Gill reflects. “Now the Eagles are touring again, and that’s a blast! But I’m also eager to get back on the bus and visit some places and fans that I haven’t seen for a while.”

Moten is no stranger to performing with Gill. She has toured for several years with Gill as a harmony singer. Gill also produced Moten’s I’ve Got You Covered album, released in 2020.

“I’ve always enjoyed sharing a stage with Wendy, whether she was singing harmonies for me, or when we were in The Time Jumpers together,” Gill boasts. “It’s always been my wish that more of the world could hear her, so being able to feature her each night of this tour is something I look forward to.”

Moten was the runner-up of Season 21 of The Voice. In addition to performing with Gill, she has also shared the stage with numerous other artists, including Julio Iglesias, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Martina McBride.
