Waymore’s Inviting Guest House and Casual Club Opens in East Nashville

A new place to get away, for both tourists and locals like, just opened in East Nashville, but it isn’t like anything else in Music City. Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club, located at 811 Main Street, offers a variety of rooms and suites, both for individuals and large groups, at an affordable price, plus has incredible food and free parking.

“We are going to start with a very well-tailored but simple menu that we showcase in an elevated way,” Ousmane Diop, General Manager of Waymore’s, says (via The Tennessean). “Once we have our shop open, we will further develop a more elaborate menu that will cater to everyone that is coming in to enjoy the rooftop, the casual club, and any group event.”

Their menu, which currently has coffee, pastries, snacks, cocktails, daily happy hour items and more, offers both eclectic menu items and affordable prices, something that is becoming obsolete anywhere in Middle Tennessee, let alone only a couple of miles from the heart of downtown Nashville.

Owned by L+R Hotels, Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club was created with the daunting endeavor of providing something for everyone, which is not an easy task considering the wide variety of people found within Nashville.

“Our primary goal is to embrace the history of what this neighborhood has represented for decades while providing a home away from home for locals and out-of-towners alike to relax, gather and collaborate,” Dip says.

Waymore’s offers pet-friendly suites, with walk-in showers, laptop space, individual climate control and floor-to-ceiling windows,  The rooms, which average between 250 and 420 square feet, begin at just $155.

“Obscure and inventive, Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club is an inviting space for all that will tie our love for hospitality with the principal culture of East Nashville,” Diop says.

Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club derives it’s name — and it’s mission — from outlaw singers like the late Waylon Jennings.

“Waymore’s is an homage to the spirit of the outlaw, and those who carry the creative freedom movement forward: the storytellers, the outsiders, the artists, the crew, the rebels-with-a-cause,” a social media post explains. “It’s also our standard of service, and the comfort of knowing what you can expect when you stay at our hotel: A sense of belonging, warm, genuine hospitality, moments that inspire, and always way, way, waymore.”

Waymore’s Guest House and Casual Club will also have a rooftop bar open this spring. Find more information a WaymoresNashville.com.
