Alexandra Kay Announces Headlining Backroad Therapy Tour

Alexandra Kay is heading out on her own tour! The rising star just announced her Backroad Therapy Tour, kicking off on November 29 in Lexington, Kentucky. Kay will be joined for most dates by Julia Cole, with additional support by Lauren Weintraub and Haley Mae Campbell.

Kay shared the news on social media, with a joint video with Kay and Cole, announcing the dates.

Before Kay can headline her own tour, she has three more dates serving as the opening act on Clay Walker and Tracy Lawrence‘s co-headlining tour.

“She is such a kind person. It’s great to see that with a new artist,” Walker told Everything Nash, sharing how thoughtful Kay is, on and off the stage. “After we had done some shows together, she sent Tracy a bottle of whiskey, and sent me a bottle of wine. It was just really super kind, super unexpected. I call that class. She’s got a lot of class.”

Kay just released her latest single, “Backroad Therapy,” last month. The rising star was joined by her band to record the empowering new track.

“This song has been my baby for two years and I am overjoyed to get to share it with you!” Kay said when the song was released. “Can’t wait to hear what you think.”

Prior to launching her Backroad Therapy Tour, Kay will make her long-awaited Grand Ole Opry debut. The singer will take the stage for the first time on November 19, performing alongside  Lauren Alaina and Mark Wills, among others.

Kay is also slated to perform for Lawrence’s Mission:Possible Turkey Fry Benefit Concert, held at the Wildhorse Saloon. Kay will share the stage with Lawrence, Gary Allan, Travis Denning and more. That show will take place on November 22, at 7:00 PM.

Kay’s Backroad Therapy Tour wraps up on December 15, in Huntington, West Virginia. Find all of Kay’s music and tour dates at AlexandraKayOfficial.com.
