Brandon Davis’ ‘Wheels On The Truck’ Video Became a Family Affair [WATCH]

The video for Brandon Davis‘ fun new single, “Wheels On The Truck” is out! The singer-songwriter reveals it was his wife, Destiny, who made the fun video happen, after their original plans fell through.

“I know everybody likes to say they have the most amazing spouse in the world, but I truly have the most amazing wife on this earth,” Davis revealed in a Facebook video, ahead of the video’s release. “Not only is she always loving me and putting up with me, but she’s my biggest inspiration, my biggest supporter, my biggest driver behind this music, and really is helping me take it to the next level, and has been by my side for every single second of it. This journey is not possible without her. It’s not gonna continue without her. This weekend she proved it even more by slapping together a music video that blew my mind.”

Davis goes on to say it was Destiny who made the “Wheels On The Truck” video come to life. Davis originally had another idea for the video, but when he got the finished product, both he and his wife felt like it wasn’t right for the song.

“It wasn’t what we wanted, and we were both so disappointed,” Davis revealed. “And I looked at her and I said, ‘You know what? You’ve got a camera. Let’s just make it ourselves. Let’s make this happen. The kids would love it.’ So we went out on Sunday afternoon, found us a spot. She got out her camera and put together her creative mindset, and she did it. She just pulled this thing together, and it is so awesome.”

Davis previously said all four of his children, but especially his son Granger, were excited about “Wheels On The Truck,” so it only made sense that they got to be in the video as well.

“This is a music video that is so special to me because it’s ours, and the kids got into it,” boasted the proud father. “They were loving it and having fun. It’s so very special to me.”

Davis honored Destiny in a song, appropriately called “Destiny,” which he recently released.

“In 2019, this woman almost lost me to a distracted driver,” Davis said of the story behind the song.. “I was hit head on and had to have life saving surgery followed by a lengthy hospital stay and months of healing. She never left my side and at 20 weeks pregnant with our fourth, she cared for me and our three others with such grace. When my faith was weak, she prayed with me. And when I told her I wanted to chase my dreams, that life was too short not to…she made my dreams happen and fully supported my decision.”

Davis spent part of the year Tim McGraw on his McGraw Tour 2022. He has continued to play shows all over the country, on his headlining Step by Step Tour. Find music and tour dates at BrandonDavisMusic.com.
