Carly Pearce Announces Overseas Hummingbird Tour

Carly Pearce is heading overseas next year. The Grand Ole Opry member just announced her headlining hummingbird 2025 Tour, playing in the United Kingdom and all over Europe.

Pearce announced the international tour on social media.

The news comes one week after Pearce announced her forthcoming hummingbird album, out on June 14. The record is her first project of new material since  29: Written in Stone came out in 2021.

“I was so intimidated of how to follow 29 because I never wrote that thinking it would have any kind of success,” Pearce admitted to Billboard. “But what it did is it taught me so much about how strong I am. And so, to see this album be finished and for it to speak to so much that has happened to me, I’m really proud of myself, and hummingbird will forever remind me that I can really do anything.”

The record’s title track is indicative of Pearce’s musical history, and the kind of music she wants to be known for.

“When I wrote this song, I knew I wanted this to be the title of the album,” Pearce said. “This song plays on my bluegrass roots but also lyrically tells the story of the journey I am on of finding love. This is the most unapologetically ‘Carly’ song I’ve ever written.”

hummingbird also includes  “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” her current Top 20 collaboration with Chris Stapleton.

“When I wrote ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore,’ we wanted to write something that was real,” Pearce explained. “And usually I feel like I go to just a place of whatever’s making me feel something. I always want to feel. When we started to write this song, I felt like I found so many different people’s story, whether you’re still in this relationship, whether you’ve left this relationship, or whether you’re literally in the moment having these feelings of just a relationship going cold.”

Before Pearce can embark on her headlining hummingbird tour, she will spend most of 2024 on the road with Tim McGraw, serving as the opening act on his Standing Room Only Tour.

“I think he’s just as hard of a worker now as he was when he first started, and he’s also just a really kind person,” Pearce told Fox News. “He’s very humble and not that you don’t know that about him, I’m sure that everybody does, but just being another artist, I feel like he champions young artists and really tries to make them feel welcome and really is paying attention to what we’re all doing in the next generation.”

“I think, not everybody does that,” she added, “and I think he knows what he’s doing.”

Tickets for Pearce’s hummingbird tour will be available to her fan club members on March 11 at 10:00 AM GMT, and to the general public on March 13 at 10:00 AM GMT. The first leg of the tour begins on February 9 in Stockholm, Sweden, and wraps up on February 28 in Dublin, Ireland. See a list of dates below.
