Carrie Underwood’s Husband, Mike Fisher, Becomes Fit52 Trainer

There’s a new trainer working with Carrie Underwood and her fit52 app: her husband, Mike Fisher! Carrie announced the news on social media, in a video she shared after filming for fit52.

“Hey everybody, Carrie Underwood here,” she began. “I am just leaving the set of our latest fit52 shoot, adding new content, and new pictures and things like that, and we have a very special announcement for all of you guys. We have a new trainer in town. He is strong, he is handsome, he is a former professional athlete. He is my husband, and his name is Mike Fisher. He’s gonna be working out with us now, on the fit52 app.

“He’s going to have his own path, Mike’s Path, and I can’t wait for you guys to try it,” Carrie continued. “It’s super exciting. He has ben working out with me, basically since the beginning of fit52 conception, and I was super excited and surprised at how much he loved doing the app with me. So let’s go! You didn’t ask for it, but you got it. Mike’s path coming soon.”

Carrie launched the fit52 app in March, as a way to pass on her love of working out and eating well to others.

“Fitness is a true passion for me,” Carrie said in a statement. “The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out. We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it.”

Carrie and Mike recently opened up about their 10-year marriage, as part of their four-part God & Country web series on I Am Second.

“We’ve been, as the world sees it, blessed with a lot of things, in doing what we love to do, and money, and fame,” Mike explained “But there is no true happiness in the things that everyone sees that should be great, apart from a real relationship with God and with Jesus. We’re not perfect. We don’t have a perfect marriage. But we have that one thing in our faith, and that’s why we’re here, is to glorify God with what we’ve been given, and hopefully, we point people to the answer. That’s what we want to be.”
