Garth Brooks Reschedules Nashville Show at Nissan Stadium

Garth Brooks is returning to Nashville. The Country Music Hall of Fame member originally was slated to perform at Nissan Stadium last August, but was forced to cancel the concert due to inclement weather. Now, Brooks has rescheduled for April 16, vowing to make the evening a night fans will never forget.

“Nashville, we’re coming home…AGAIN!” Brooks tweeted. “You were sweet to each other when the Thunder Rolled last time. I not only want to come back, I have to come back! Not for you, but for me! Let’s make this a night so great we want to live it twice! love, g”

The Nissan Stadium concert will also mark Brooks’ final performance on his Stadium Tour in Tennessee and Kentucky, after canceling some of the dates due to rising COVID-19 cases.

“It’s great to have Garth Brooks back at Nissan Stadium,” Burke Nihill, Tennessee Titans President and CEO, says. “Not only is he the No. 1-selling solo artist in U.S. history, but he also does amazing things for our community, and we couldn’t be more proud to bring him back home to Nashville for what’s sure to be an electric show.”

In August, Brooks announced he was canceling the remainder of the 2021 dates on his Stadium Tour, out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of his fans, as well as his band and crew.

“It was the right decision to make, even though it was not my favorite decision,” Brooks said on Inside Studio G, adding that he would not consider rescheduling the other canceled dates.

“This Stadium Tour ends, no matter what, in August or September of next year … COVID will not make this Stadium Tour go longer than it has been,” Brooks maintained, adding, “I hate to say it was the right decision, because I hate the decision, and I hate being responsible because I’m an artist. Artists shouldn’t be responsible. Artists should get to make stupid mistakes like all of us.”

Tickets for Brooks’ Nissan Stadium show will go on sale on March 4 at 10:00 AM CT. Tickets can be purchased at or on the Garth Brooks line at Ticketmaster (1-877-654-2784) or through the Ticketmaster App on a mobile phone.
