More performers have been announced for the upcoming 2022 ACM Awards. The show, which will be hosted by Dolly Parton along with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett, will now include performances by Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Brittney Spencer, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, and Mitchell Tenpenny.
In addition to hosting, Parton will perform “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans,” from the Run Rose Run soundtrack with Kelsea Ballerini. Allen and Barrett will perform two songs together to kick off the two-hour show, which will run commercial-free on Prime Video.
Young will perform his “Raised on Country” anthem. He and Tenpenny will also perform their “At the End of a Bar” collaboration. Brown, who shares three nods with Young, for their “Famous Friends” collaboration, will perform his new song, “Leave You Alone.”
The new round of performers join a previously-announced list of celebrities taking the stage, including Thomas Rhett, Walker Hayes, Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde, Parmalee and Blanco Brown with a special appearance by Brooke Eden, and BRELAND, and Chris Stapleton and Maren Morris,
Young heads into the ACM Awards with the most nominations, with seven, including Album of the Year, for Famous Friends.
“It’s always awesome to have a nomination, period, because there have been plenty of years in my career where there wasn’t one,” Young told Billboard. “So I’m excited anytime there is a nomination, and especially what happened this year. I’ve never been the most-nominated artist at an awards show, and especially not one the caliber of the ACMs.”
The 2022 ACM Awards will air live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, without commercial interruption, on Monday, March 7 on Amazon Prime Video.
