Home Free Announces ‘Delta Dawn’ Collaboration With Brooke Eden

Home Free has a new collaboration with Brooke Eden, out on Friday, April 21. The all-vocal group and the rising female singer will release their version of “Delta Dawn,” the iconic hit that introduced future Country Music Hall of Fame member, Tanya Tucker, to the world.

Eden joined Home Free on their Home Free Family Christmas Tour, which included a recent rescheduled show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The two acts first teased their collaboration by sharing a screenshot of Eden wanting to AirDrop her vocals to a track named “DD.”

Later, Home Free confirmed that they were releasing “Delta Dawn” with Eden, sharing a photo of all of them decked out in Western attire.

“We love diving back into our roots, hitting on old country classics like this,” Home Free explained. “‘Delta Dawn’ was originally sung by Bette Midler in 1971 and popularized by Tanya Tucker in ‘72 . The song has always tugged at our hearts, and we felt there was nobody better to help us do it justice than [Brooke Eden].”

Some of you guessed it, some of you have already heard it live, let’s do this thing!
