Home Free has done it again. The vocal group just released a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues,” along with a hysterical video, which shows all five band member in prison!

“Folsom Prison Blues” joins an impressive list of covers and videos the group has recently released, including Foy Vance’s “Moonshine,”  Surfaces’ “Sunday Best,” “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers, “Everybody Walkin’ This Land” by Paul Cauthen, Diamond Rio’s “Meet in the Middle,” and of course, “God Bless the U.S.A.” with Lee Greenwood and the United States Air Force Band.

Home Free also just announced the release of an upcoming Christmas album, Warmest Winter. The 12-track project includes collaborations with Alabama, Rachel Wammack and Striking Matches.

“We are stoked to announce that our new Christmas album, ‘Warmest Winter,’ is coming November 6th!” Home Free shared on social media. “Christmas tree It’s never too early to get into the Christmas spirit, so throw on your Santa hats and get ready.. because NEW MUSIC IS COMING SOON!”

Band member Austin Brown just released his debut solo single, “Earn It,” which he wrote after realizing he had so much time on his hands, since Home Free had to postpone their tour because of COVID-19.

“I started writing probably 20 to 30 songs a year, on my own and then also with songwriters from all over Nashville,” Austin told the Tifton Gazette. “Initially it was just writing songs for Home Free, but over time, it’s gotten to where I’m sitting on loads and loads of songs now and I haven’t had anything to do with them.”

Home Free also has brand-new merchandise available, including clothing, insulated mugs, and even a Home Free mask. Find updates, and pre-order Warmest Winter, at HomeFreeOfficial.com.
