Home Free is having so much fun on their Road Sweet Road Tour, they decided to keep it going into 2023. The five-man group announced on social media that they had extended their tour into the new year, with more dates expected to be announced soon.
Home Free shared the news only a few days after the release of their latest record, So Long Dixie.

So Long Dixie is all original songs, inspired in part while Home Free was off of the road due to the pandemic.
“Downtime these past couple years combined with inspiration from touring again, got Tim [Foust] and Austin [Brown] writing,” Home Free said of their new project. “We all listened and had an idea. We thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do something different and uniquely ours. This collection of songs we feel not only tells great stories, but still holds true to our style you all know and love.”
Home Free has yet to announce who will serve as the opening act for the new set of dates. Maggie Baugh, Casey Barnes and Erin Kinsey took turns for the 2022 dates. Home Free will follow their 2022 Road Sweet Road Tour with their Home Free Family Christmas Tour, with Texas Hill,Caroline Jones, Brooke Eden, Abby Anderson and Ernie Halter joining them on the road.
