Jason Aldean Announces Ambitious 30-Track ‘Macon, Georgia’ Project

New music is coming from Jason Aldean — and a LOT of it. The 44-year-old just announced an ambitious new 30-track project, Macon, Georgia, honoring his own hometown. Aldean will roll out the songs beginning with the Macon album, which consists of ten new songs, including his current “If I Didn’t Love You” single with Carrie Underwood, as well as live versions of five songs.

Aldean will continue to roll out more music, including ten more new songs plus five live songs, on Georgia. The entire project will be released by April 22.

“Where you were raised has such a big influence on who you become and for me it’s no different…especially from a music standpoint,” Aldean said. “My little hometown of Macon was heavily instrumental in my musical background. Growing up in an environment that was a crossroads between Country music, Southern rock, blues and R&B, it was just natural to blend different sounds in my on way.”

Aldean also spoke out about the massive new album on social media.

The full release of Macon, Georgia will be available in a three-disc collector vinyl set. See a complete track list below. Pre-order Macon here.
