Jennifer Wayne and Brad Rempel Unite for ‘Flip U’ TV Series

Jennifer Wayne and Brad Rempel are joining forces, but it’s not for a musical collaboration. The Runaway June singer and High Valley frontman are uniting for Flip U, short for Flip University, a new TV show about flipping houses. The show features the two singers educating people wanting to flip houses in and around the Nashville area, offering their own experience and knowledge.

“Brad and I would always run into each other at shows, and we’d always end up talking backstage about real estate,” Wayne says. “We’ve given each other a few tips throughout the years, and we can’t wait to share them now with our viewers!”

“When Jen and I run into each other on the road or in the studio, we always trade house flipping stories,” adds Rempel. “We are so excited to share what we’ve learned over the years and pass it on to all the students of Flip University.”

The six-part series will air on The Design Network in the spring of 2023.

“Everyone wants to know what it takes to buy a house for a certain price, spend the money and sweat equity fixing it up, and make 100 grand on selling day,” says TDN CEO, Jason Harris. “Our team is thrilled to be bringing flipping programming to TDN in 2023 led not only by talent with great real estate experience, but deep roots in country music. Jennifer and Brad bring an electricity to our network that we can’t wait for viewers to experience.”

Both Wayne and Rempel might be devoting time to Flip U, but they are still moving full-speed ahead with their country music careers as well. Runaway June is working on a new album, after Stevie Woodward replaced Naomi Cooke in the trio (which also includes Natalie Stovall). High Valley, which is continuing after Rempel’s longtime duo partner, his brother Curtis, left the band in 2021, just released their latest Way Back record in May.

Flip U will be available on all top streaming platforms including Samsung TV+, The Roku Channel, Amazon’s FreeVee, Pluto, Sling, and many more. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
