Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean Announce Co-Headlining Stadium Tour

After selling out the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium together, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean just announced their co-headlining The Double Down Tour in August. The duo will play four shows in stadiums across the country, joined by a rotating list of opening acts, including Gavin Adcock, Dasha, Chase Matthew, Jon Pardi, Dylan Scott, and Lauren Watkins.

“If our time in Georgia was a barometric measurement of what’s ahead, these shows with Jason will make it one of the best touring years of my life. And the fans will hopefully feel the same way,” Bryan says.

“Luke and I have each been at this, career-wise and as friends, for over twenty years, and have gotten to hit a lot of milestones along the way,” adds Aldean. “We’ve gotten to share the stage plenty of times over the years, and playing UGA was just a preview of what’s coming for the rest of these shows.”

Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean’s “Songs About Us” Duet

Bryan and Aldean will have at least one song to play together. Aldean just released his Songs About Us album. The record includes a duet with Bryan on the title track.

“’Songs About Us,’ this is a duet I did with Luke, and one I’m really excited about,” Aldean tells his record label. “And this is just, to me, one of those songs. Luke and I are kind of from the same part of the world. [We] grew up with a lot of the same influences of music and playing a lot of the same clubs with these songs that were soundtracks to our lives. We felt like they were singing these songs about us. They were songs that we could relate to. And over the last 20 years, I think Luke and I, our songs have probably been the soundtrack for some other kids’ lives over the years.

“And so, he was the one that just kind of made sense for me to pull him on and be a part of this one,” he adds. “Really cool song that I think is gonna be one of the highlights of the record, which is why we named the album that.”
