Maddie & Tae Postpone Tour Dates ‘Out of Precaution’

Maddie & Tae fans will have to wait just a little bit longer to see them on tour. The duo, made up of Madison Font and Taylor Kerr, had planned on hitting the road in 2022, including headlining the CMT Next Women of Country: All Song No Static Tour. Unfortunately, those dates have been postponed, after Kerr, who announced her pregnancy in November, has been placed on bed rest by her doctor.

Maddie & Tae announced the news on social media.

“As excited as we are to get out on the road and see everyone, we are holding off on our return a little bit longer,” they shared. “Tae and her baby are doing great, but the doctor has placed her on temporary bed rest. Out of precaution, we are postponing our upcoming tour dates, including the CMT Next Women of Country: All Song No Static Tour. Rescheduled dates to be announced soon!

“We appreciate your understanding and we’ll be back on tour with new music as soon as we can!” the statement continued. “May you and yours have a holiday full of joy and blessings! We love you!”

No word yet when the tour, which also includes Callista Clark and Sacha as the opening acts, will be rescheduled.

“We are so excited to have CMT’s Next Women of Country Tour back on the road and to announce our favorite dynamic duo Maddie & Tae as headliners!” Leslie Fram, SVP of Music & Talent, CMT, said when the tour was first announced. “I’ve loved having the opportunity to watch their careers soar since we first welcomed them into our program in 2015.”

Kerr married songwriter Josh Kerr in 2020. Maddie & Tae will release Through the Madness Vol. 1 on January 28.
