Michael Ray, Craig Morgan Perform For ‘All-American Holiday Concert’ TV Special

Michael Ray and Craig Morgan are lending their talents to an upcoming TV special, honoring the 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers, veterans, and their families. The event, hosted by Runaway June‘s Natalie Stovall, also includes Abby Anderson, as well as the 82nd Airborne Division Band & Chorus.

The artists also visited with the 82nd paratroopers and commanding officers at Fort Bragg, and participated in various training activities, as well as offered their personal thanks to the those who recently served in Afghanistan.

“I’m very proud to have performed with the 82nd Airborne Division Band for our servicemen and women at Fort Bragg,” says artist Michael Ray. “The opportunity to show appreciation for those who serve our country is always an honor, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.”

The trip was especially meaningful for Morgan, who was stationed at the 82nd Airborne when he was in the military.

“We are beyond thrilled that some of Nashville’s best artists, to include 82nd Airborne veteran, Craig Morgan, came to town to ring in the holidays,” says Fort Bragg Commanding General Christopher Donahue. “This was a very special evening and a perfect way for us to say thank you for everything our Paratroopers and families have done for the Division and the nation over the past year.”

Ray recently shared a few photos from his time at Fort Bragg.

“If you know me, you know how much love, respect and admiration I have for our military men and women,” the “Whiskey and Rain” singer tweeted. “So when I got a call to do some once in a lifetime things with our [82nd Airborne Division].  ya damn right I jumped at the opportunity. Coming soon to [Circle All Access].”

The All-American Holiday was shot live to tape on December 10th at the Crown Complex in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The show will air on December 24th and December 25th at 8:00 PM ET on Circle TV, December 24th at 12:00 PM ET on RFD TV, and December 24th at 7:00 PM viewer time overseas on AFN Prime.
