Miranda Lambert Reflects on Honor of Owning Casa Rosa in Nashville

Miranda Lambert‘s Casa Rosa is open in Nashville, and no one is more excited about it than the superstar. Casa Rosa not only is a reflection of Lambert’s own life, and her love of Tex-Mex food, as well as her abilities and instincts as a female entrepreneur.

“It’s cool to have!” Lambert gushes to CMT‘s Cody Alan. “First of all, I am the first woman ever to have a bar on Broadway which makes me so proud. I also love Tex-Mex, and I have a little area that I can go that is private, but I can still be part of everything.”

“A lot of [people] can’t just go to Broadway anymore because, thankfully, it’s a crazy town down there,” she adds. “Which makes me happy because country music is thriving. I knew it would come back bigger than ever, and it is! So that makes me really happy.”

Lambert had a hand in every part of Casa Rosa, including the menu. Although there are plenty of tempting items, including Smoked Brisket Nachos, Miranda’s Hot Chicken and Waffles, a Tex-Mex Burger and more, there is one item that Lambert suggests everyone try.

“The one that is the closest to me, is the Gringo Tacos,” Lambert shares. “It’s like a crunchy beef taco, and it makes me really happy!”

The 37-year-old previously revealed that, since she is the sole female artist who is also a bar owner in downtown Nashville, she made sure there that she stayed away from anything too masculine.

“It’s got some girly touches for sure,” Lambert told CMT. “It’s pretty much all boys down there with the bars as it is now, and I am seeing more and more bachelorette parties every single day. I ran into about three different groups of them at the airport the other day. so I was like, ’We need something that plays a little more toward the girls.’ And also, that’s an ode to our home state. Tacos and tequila are the primary dishes at the restaurant.”

Casa Rosa is located at 308 Broadway. Find more information, including hours of operation and menu items, at CasaRosa.com.
