Clark, who joined McEntire for her tour dates last year as well, is also eager to return to the road with the Country Music Hall of Fame member.

McEntire had so much fun on her Reba: Live in Concert Arena Tour in 2022, she wasn’t ready to bid farewell to her time on the road.

“I am very grateful we’re continuing this tour on into 2023,” McEntire said when the tour was announced. “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that’s just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!”

McEntire has a lot to keep her busy in 2023 besides a tour. The Grand Ole Opry member was just announced as the Mega Mentor for Season 23 of The Voice, which also marks Blake Shelton‘s final season. It was McEntire who was asked to become a coach on The Voice when it began, although she turned it down and the job went to Shelton instead.

“It was a very popular show in Holland, I’m pretty sure,” McEntire told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. “I watched the tape and I said ‘No, I’m going to pass on that, because I don’t think I’d ever be able to tell somebody that they’re terrible, or ‘Go find another job’ or ‘Hope you like your nighttime job.’ I couldn’t do that, day in and day out. I just couldn’t do it. So I did pass on it. Blake was the perfect choice. He’s done a wonderful job.”

The Oklahoma native also just opened her own Reba’s Place, a restaurant and music venue, in her home state.

“It has 15,000 square feet over three floors,” McEntire said of her new business. “Upstairs is a retail area for merchandise, and downstairs is the restaurant and stage. I wanted to keep the stage small because I don’t want big productions and loud music — I just want people to be able to go there to listen to some music with their neighbors and have something good to eat. For the menu, I had my list of things that had to be on there, like chicken-fried chicken, and pintos and cornbread. And my smashed potatoes that I make with garlic and onion.”
