Russell Dickerson Drops ‘Three Months Two Streets Down’ EP

Russell Dickerson  just dropped the perfect summer soundtrack, his Three Months Two Streets Down EP. Dickerson wrote four of the five songs, including “Ride the Wave,” out now. Dan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney and Tyler Hubbard each helped write one of the tracks as well.

“I’ve had these songs for a while and wanted to do something cool with them — releasing a summer EP just seemed like the perfect fit,” Dickerson says. “I like how there’s a track on there for everyone — whether it’s one that makes you nostalgic or more of a feel-good song to blast in your car. So glad I can officially share these tracks with the RD Fam!”

Dickerson will embark on his Big Wheels & Back Roads Tour in September, with Restless Road joining Dickerson for all dates, and  Parmalee and Niko Moon each joining Dickerson on select dates.

“To me, there’s nothing better than performing live and getting the whole RD Fam together,” Dickerson says. ‘Big Wheels and Back Roads’ has been one of my favorite songs to sing live for a while now, so it was just the perfect fit for the name of the tour. Can’t wait to see y’all out there this Fall!”

Ever since Dickerson’s “Yours” became a No. 1 hit, the Tennessee native has spent a lot of time on the road, working hard to make his dreams come true.

“I’ve been touring for, I think this is our seventh year in a row, just nonstop, 100 miles an hour,” Dickerson told Entertainment Tonight. “And this is the first year that I was going to profit. Because it’s always [going] back. It’s always hiring more people, more lights, bigger everything. And this was the first year that I was actually going to make money. And I still, this time I would not trade it for a penny of that. it’s been the biggest blessing.”

In April, Dickerson and his wife Kailey revealed they are expecting their second child, a little brother to Remington, who was born in September of 2020.

“It’s the best thing in the world,” Dickerson tells Everything Nash of being a father. “We’re best friends, and I love every second we get to hang out and kiss his face and wrestle. It’s hard. He is two, but it’s absolutely the best thing in the world.”

Dickerson is currently enjoying a Top 25 hit with “God Gave Me A Girl,” from his eponymous third studio album, out last fall. See a track list for Three Months Two Streets Down below. Find all of Dickerson’s music and tour dates at  RussellDickerson.com.
