Tracy Lawrence’s 18th Annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry Concert Lineup Announced

Tracy Lawrence is returning once again for his 18th Annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry, followed by a star-studded concert. The country music legend will be joined by Lee Brice and Priscilla Block, along with Halfway to Hazard, for the nighttime concert, taking place on Tuesday, November 21 at the Wildhorse Saloon.

Lawrence will also fry turkeys again this year, with proceeds benefiting the Nashville Resuce Mission and other local charities. Last year’s event raised more than $250,000.

“I’m very excited for this year’s 18th annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert,” Lawrence says. “We have the opportunity to fry 1200 turkeys again this year which allows us to continue to help feed those in Middle Tennessee and eight of our surrounding counties. It is really special to have the community come together to help those in need.”

For Lawrence, it’s important to him to give to the Nashville Rescue Mission, a cause he is passionate about supporting.

“I just feel such a great connection with the Rescue Mission,” Lawrence told Everything Nash. “I think they do such great work in the community. There are so many folks that are less fortunate than we are. I think everybody should take the time to give back just a little bit more. They have an opportunity for people to get their GED, to go through drug rehabilitation, alcohol rehabilitation, just so many ways for them to get back on track when they fall on hard times. And even if they just need to go overnight. There are a lot of resources here for people to use. I just think it’s something that we should really appreciate here.”

The “Paint Me A Birmingham” singer had no idea when he launched his first Mission:Possible Turkey Fry that he would still be doing them today, nor that it would grow into such a massive event.

“Years ago, when we started this thing, it was done just as a grassroots awareness campaign,” Lawrence said. “I had no intentions of this thing growing into what it was. It was not my vision. I just saw people in need standing on the street corners that needed help, and I saw the distaste that people had for it. And I thought there might be a way that we can help change the public perception a little bit, and make people realize that, that there are a lot of different reasons that people fall on homelessness.”

More artists are expected to be added to the lineup. Tickets are available at AXS.com, beginning on Friday, October 6 at 10:00 AM. Lawrence will join Riley Green in 2024 on their Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour. Find music and tour dates at TracyLawrence.com.
