Travis Tritt Cancels November Tour Dates Due to Injury

Travis Tritt fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see him perform. The singer has canceled his November tour dates, which included his Can’t Miss Tour with Chris Janson and War Hippies, due to a knee injury.

“I have been experiencing severe pain in my left knee for the past few weeks due to a possible torn meniscus,” Tritt says in a statement shared on social media. “With short bits of rest between shows, I had hoped that the pain would eventually subside and I could complete all of my remaining dates in November, including all the dates on the current ‘Can’t Miss Tour’ with Chris Janson and War Hippies.

“Unfortunately, the pain has become impossible to ignore and I will not be able to do any further shows in November,” he continues. “Refunds for these shows will be available at the point of ticket purchase. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and I hope to return to the road as soon as possible.”

Prior to the start of the Can’t Miss tour, which kicked off in October, Tritt spent some time on the road with Jason Aldean. Tritt, along with Tracy Lawrence and Chase Rice, served as the opening act for the second half of Aldean’s Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour, after Gabby Barrett announced she was expecting her second child, and would be unable to tour.

“I remember going to see Travis Tritt at the Omni in Atlanta when I was a teenager, and he was one of those guys that did the country Southern rock thing, and I just thought that was so cool,” Aldean previously shared with Everything Nash and other meida outlets. “And obviously, he was a big influence for me, too. And so to have those guys out … my graduation present from high school was tickets to go see Tracy Lawrence. So here I am, out on tour, and these guys are opening for me. It’s pretty wild.”
