Alexandra Kay Announces Nashville Pop-Up Due to Fan Demand

Good news, Alexandra Kay fans! The Illinois native announces a pop-up at Killebrew Coffee, located inside the Thompson Hotel in Nashville. The pop-up will take place ahead of Kay’s sold-out show at Basement East, as part of her All I’ve Ever Known Tour.

“I know a lot of you were disappointed you couldn’t get tickets to our show at the Basement East on December 22, due to it selling out two months in advance,” Kay says in a video shared on social media. “As much as we would have loved to add another show, unfortunately, our schedule with the holidays didn’t allow it, and we really wanted the opportunity to meet and see more of you.

“So here’s what we decided to do: on December 22, the same day as the Basement East show, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, we’re going to be at Killebrew Coffee in Nashville, Tennessee,” she continues. “We’re going to be doing a pop-up of the All I’ve Ever Known Tour, which includes a short acoustic set of me and Rocko Beall, my guitar player, performing some of your favorite songs from the album.”

In addition to the acoustic performance, Kay will also offer “tour-exclusive merchandise,” along with meet-and-greet opportunities for those who purchase a $10 hard-copy CD.

“I love you Nashville, and we’re so excited to see more of you on December 22nd,” Kay concludes.

Kay’s All I’ve Ever Known album, which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes when it was released in October, is a deeply personal look at the challenges the singer-songwriter faced in the last year, including splitting from her husband, Indiana.

“[It’s] a peak inside the past decade, who I was and who I’ve become, what I thought I knew and what I’ve learned,” Kay said when announcing the project and tour. “It is a story of the hardest year I’ve ever faced wrapped in honesty and vulnerability. It’s truly ‘All I’ve Ever Known’ and it’s all yours … The healing continues this fall in 34 cities across the country. I can’t wait to hug you, to hear your stories and to start this new chapter together.”

Kay also said she was eager to perform songs from All I’ve Ever Known while on her headlining tour.

All I’ve Ever Known is honesty,” Kay shared. “It’s a peek behind the curtain to an old kitchen window in a town of 4,000 people where I lived the past 10 years of my life. It is who I was, who I’ve become and everything in between. This album is the most raw, vulnerable, and wide open I have ever been when creating music, which can be terrifying and healing at the same time. I am so excited to connect with so many beautiful humans and watch the healing power of music as we tour this album in the fall.”

All I’ve Ever Known might be about recovering from her heartbreak, but it also includes a touching song, “She Stayed,” written in honor of her best friend,  Lindsey, who remained by Kay’s side through all of the numerous highs and lows.

‘When my husband and I split, my best friend never left my side so I wrote this song for her,” Kay said of the song.

The pop-up experience is free.RSVP here. Killebrew Coffee is located at 401 11th Avenue South. Find all of Kay’s music and upcoming shows at AlexandraKayOfficial.com.
