We now know what Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney sound like together, and the answer is GORGEOUS. The duo’s new collaboration, “Over Us,” with Underwood is out. The song, which was produced by Dan Smyers, is from the upcoming Dear Evan Hansen movie, starring Ben Platt and Kaitlyn Dever.

Dan + Shay boasted about the collaboration on social media, admitting they are big, big fans of the American Idol alum.

“We’re [Carrie Underwood] superfans and it’s always been a dream to collaborate with her. We’re also [Dear Evan Hansen] superfans and the fact that we got to record ‘Only Us’ for the … soundtrack is quite possibly the coolest thing that’s ever happened to us,”

After teasing a collaboration on social media, Underwood and Dan + Shay confirmed the news earlier this week that they would be singing together for the film. Other artists performing on the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack include Colton Ryan, Julianne Moore, Sam Smith, SZA, Finneas, Tori Kelly and more. Platt and Dever also contribute to the soundtrack as well.

This isn’t Underwood’s only collaboration right now. She is currently in the Top 15 with her “If I Didn’t Love You” duet with Jason Aldean. The song is from Aldean’s upcoming tenth studio album.
