Dan + Shay, Blake Shelton + More Part of New Year’s Eve Party in Nashville

2022 will come in with a big bang, at least in Nashville. A star-studded bash, featuring Dan + Shay, Blake Shelton, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and more, will take place as part of New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, airing on December 31 on CBS. The entire show will also be available to stream on Paramount+.

More than 50 performances will take place at various locations in Music City, including the main stage at  Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, which will be headlined by Bentley, the Zac Brown Band and Dan + Shay.

The news comes less than a month after Dan + Shay hosted their Good Things concert at Nashville’s Centennial Park, celebrating the release of their latest Good Things  album.

“The moment of being up there at Centennial is just going to be pretty surreal,” Shay Mooney said prior to their packed show. “It’s going to be a lot of people. It’s going to be a lot of our friends and family. We haven’t really gotten to see a lot of our team through this, obviously with COVID. It’s definitely going to be a celebration of not only our fans and of this album, but also just the people who helped us get here … We’re just very, very thankful for everybody who helped us get here.”

New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash will air across multiple time zones, with the countdown to the new year at midnight ET, ending  with the traditional Nashville music note drop and fireworks, which will take place at midnight CT.

Other performers include Elle King, Gabby Barrett,  Darius Rucker and Cole Swindell, with more artists expected to be announced in the near future.
