Hank Williams, Jr.’s Wife, Mary Jane Thomas, Passes Away

Hank Williams, Jr. is mourning the loss of his wife, Mary Jane Thomas, who has passed away. The couple was married since 1990. Her death, confirmed by multiple sources, occurred on Tuesday, March 22, in Jupiter, Florida. Thomas reportedly suffered complications after undergoing a medical procedure.

Thomas, a former Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion model, is Williams’ third wife. She was with her husband when he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, along with Marty Stuart and Dean Dillon.

“[I have] a lot of people to thank and I know who they are,” Williams said during his speech after officially becoming a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. “They know who they are. That part about the family with the open arms, well, that might have been a little bit different in my case. But I went to Muscle Shoals, Alabama and all my rowdy friends are coming over tonight. I was born to boogie and this is a family tradition.”

This is not the first tragedy Williams has endured. In 2020, his daughter, Katherine Williams-Dunning, was killed in a car accident.

In addition to Thomas’ husband, she is also survived by her son, Sam Williams, also a musician, and three grandchildren. Funeral services have yet to be announced.

Everything Nash extends our deepest condolences to Williams and his family.
