Home Free Postpones Ryman Show, Drops New Christmas Video [WATCH]

Home Free is postponing their long-awaited performance at the Ryman Auditorium, scheduled for December 23, as part of their Home Free Family Christmas Tour, due to inclement weather. The show will now take place on Sunday, March 5 instead.

Currently, Nashville is experiencing temperatures in the low single digits, with record-breaking wind chills falling well below zero, along with icy roads.

The news was announced on the Ryman Auditorium’s social media channels.

Home Free planned on performing with Brooke EdenAbby AndersonMaggie BaughTexas HillMark Wills and his daughter Macey Wills. The show was going to be livestreamed via Mandolin as well. The livestream will also take place on the new date.

In an email to their fans, Home Free hinted that the new show might include a few Christmas tunes.

“We can’t wait to get back to The Mother Church of Country Music this Spring,” Home Free says. “We’ll even pepper in a few holiday tunes on that day!”

The disappointing news comes as Home Free also released a new holiday video, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” The video features all five Home Free members in matching holiday sweaters, perfect for the Christmas season.

Home Free has four more dates scheduled on their Home Free Family Christmas Tour. The group will head to Stafford, Texas on December 28, followed by a performance in San Antionio, Texas, on December 29, and two back-to-back shows to wrap up the tour in Dallas, Texas, on December 30 and 31.

An announcement on who Home Free’s opening acts will be for the new Ryman Auditorium date is expected to be announced son. Home Free will resume their Road Sweet Road Tour in February.
