Luke Combs Is Putting His Fans First On Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour

Luke Combs is putting his fans first on his 2024 Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour, which will play back-to-back nights in stadiums all over the country. The 33-year-old always thinks of his fans when it comes to his career, but is especially thinking about them on his upcoming tour.

“When we’re doing a show like this, whether it’s going over ticket pricing, or picking openers or picking cities. we try to think of them first at every turn, truly,” Combs tells his record label. “And I hope that comes across when they see the show, and when they’re at the box office to buy their tickets, I hope those things kind of come across.”

Combs will be joined by both Jordan Davis and Mitchell Tenpenny for his Saturday night shows, two acts that he hand-picked himself.

“I’ve had Jordan Davis out before on tour with us, and we just get along really great,” Combs says. “I’m a huge fan of him as a guy and as a musician and couldn’t be more stoked to have him out.”

“Mitchell Tenpenny is such a great guy,” he adds. “He’s been out on some shows with us before and I just really love him and his crew, and he just brings such a great energy out there. [I’m] looking forward to having him out.”

Combs will also have a large team of people with him, helping make sure all of the dates on his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour run smoothly.

“It takes a ton of people to put on a show of this size,” the North Carolina native says. “Definitely over 100 o 150 folks and that’s just my people; that’s not including the openers. It’s a tremendous, tremendous effort to get these shows pulled off. I’m very thankful to have the best team in the business to help me do these shows every night.”

Combs is currently overseas on his global World Tour, while his employees are already hard at work prepping his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.

“A big tour like this, I don’t know if there’s really any preparing that I have to do,” the “Fast Car” singer says. “Obviously my band and crew do a tremendous amount of work in preparation for this thing, so they deserve all the praise when it comes to that.”

Combs is currently in Australia for a series of shows, and will then return home for a month, and hopefully welcome his second son with his wife, Nicole, although he admits they were struggling to pick his name.

“It’s actually kind of getting down to the wire here because I’m going to tour in Australia here in about out a week,” Combs said on Audacy‘s Check In, before he left to go overseas. “Going to be cutting it close with the due date on getting home, so we have to pick out a name in the next couple of days, in case the baby were to come while I’m gone.”

Combs’ World Tour will wrap up on October 20 in London, England. Tickets for Combs’ Growin’ Up And Gettin’ Old Tour will be available on August 25. Find music and tour dates at LukeCombs.com.
