Old Dominion’s Matt Ramsey Injured in ATV Accident, Tour Dates Postponed

Old Dominion‘s Matt Ramsey is on the mend, following injuries he sustained in an ATV accident. The lead singer fractured his pelvis in three places, Ramsey shared the news on social media, revealing that the band is postponing some of the upcoming shows on their No Bad Vibes Tour while he recovers.

“Well friends, I’m afraid I have some disappointing news,” Ramsey writes. “I was in an ATV accident that has left my pelvis fractured in three places. The good news is it’s gonna heal just fine. The bad news is I’m gonna have to stay home and recover for a little while. I  know we all had plans to sing and dance together in Key West. I was looking forward to that so much! We will make it up to you!

“I promise we’ll keep you updated on my recovery and any other shows that might be affected,” he continues. “This tour has been such a blast so far this year and before you know it I’ll be back out there with No Bad Vibes! Love you all. -M”

This weekend’s shows have been rescheduled for March 22-24, 2024. For those unable to attend the rescheduled dates, a full refund will be available from the point of purchase for the next 30 days. Old Dominion’s next scheduled show is on April 13 in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Old Dominion just released the video for “Memory Lane.” The song is from their four-song Memory Lane (Sampler), out now.

“’Memory Lane’ has already become such a special song for us,”  Ramsey says. “This is one of the most ambitious videos we’ve ever put out as we took a different approach in telling our story visually. There are so many memories and very personal touches intertwined in the visuals. It’s a special one to us and we hope it is to you too.”

Old Dominion’s last album, Time, Tequila & Therapy, was released in 2021. The record included two Top 20 singles, “I Was On A Boat That Day” and “No Hard Feelings.”

“We’ve been working on so much new music, and the response to ‘Memory Lane’ has been so energizing that we decided we’re tired of sitting on it all!” Ramsey said when Memory Lane (Sampler) was released. “We’re so excited to share three more songs heading into the No Bad Vibes Tour and the next chapter in our musical journey.”
