Tyler Hubbard is giving new insight into the future of Florida Georgia Line. After he and Brian Kelley shocked fans during CMA Fest by performing together, Hubbard says they are already making plans for 2027.
“I would say we’ve got some things in the works for next year,” Hubbard says on Chicago’s US 99 radio station. “We’re excited. BK and I have been hanging out, having a good time, and kind of itching to get back on stage. So we’ll probably put some shows together next year. That’s about as much as we planned at this point. But we’re both excited. It’s going to be a fun year next year.”
Hubbard loved being able to reunite on stage with Kelley during CMA Fest, in front of more than 50,000 country music fans.
“It was cool,” Hubbard says. “It was a great moment. It was kind of that moment where it felt like everyone around us and the fans and everyone online got to experience the power and the healing that BK and I have been getting to experience for the last year. It was cool.”

Why Florida Georgia Line Split Up in 2022
Florida Georgia Line spent a decade making music together, before splitting in 2022. At the time, Hubbard and Kelley said they were both going to focus on their solo career.
“I think ‘taking a break’ is the proper term, as opposed to breaking up,” Hubbard told People.
“We’re not going our separate ways,” Kelley added at the time. “We’re taking a break from recording our music. We’re being artists. We love creating. And so a couple years back, we started writing without each other and trying different writers, and now we’re both doing that with our music.”
Why Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley Reunited Again
In the fall of 2025, Hubbard revealed on the Human School Podcast that he and Kelley had not spoken in some time, but were planning on going on a hike in the near future. They not only went on the hike, but then spent time together at Hubbard’s Utah home, where they began reconnecting again.
“I think we’re both focused on the friendship and working on our own stuff still,” Kelley said. “But I think time will tell, and I’m excited about what God can do. I think the options are endless right now. It’s really cool to see what time can do, as well. …But if I do think about it, it does excite me. So, we’ll see.”
In early 2026, Kelley said he was open to making more music as part of Florida Georgia Line.
“Life is good right now,” Kelley said on Country Outdoors (via iHeart). “I can’t get on TikTok or Instagram without scrolling through and hearing a couple FGL songs, which is amazing. That run we went on was unbelievable. We’re just so grateful for that. And right now, I think just working on our brotherhood is kind of top tier, most important for us. And I think, Lord willing, the brotherhood will lead its way home. So, we’ll see.”
