Cole Swindell is heading back out on the road! The Georgia native just announced his headlining Back Down To The Bar Tour, kicking off on September 23 in Helotes, Texas, and wrapping up on November 19 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Swindell will be joined for the tour by Ashley Cooke, who joined Swindell on his Down To The Bar Tour, which wrapped up earlier this year, and Dylan Marlowe, who will both serve as Swindell’s opening acts.
“We had so much fun on the Down To The Bar Tour in the spring that I decided we just needed to go Back Down To The Bar in the fall!” Swindel says of his new tour. “I couldn’t NOT take Ashley Cooke back out with us on this tour because she is just incredible and fans love her. I’ve also been watching what Dylan has been doing for a while now so I’m so excited he is going to join us. Touring has just had a new meaning this past year and I can’t wait to show the fans what we have in store for them on the Back Down To The Bar Tour!”
The tour announcement comes shortly after Swindell released his fourth studio album, Stereotype. The record includes “Single Saturday Night” and “Never Say Never” duet with Lainey Wilson, which both hit No. 1, as well as his current single, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” Swindell wrote the song with Thomas Rhett, Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure, paying tribute to Jo Dee Messina “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” including the song’s original writers, Mark D. Sanders and Tim Nichols, in the credits as well.
“Out of all the ‘90s country songs we all love, I don’t think anybody would have thought we would have picked that one, but I think that’s what makes it special,” Swindell says.
Swindell’s Back Down To The Bar Tour includes his first headlining concert at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. That show will take place on November 3.
