Thomas Rhett Extends Bring The Bar To You Tour Into 2023

Thomas Rhett is having so much fun on his Bring The Bar To You Tour, he decided to extend it into 2023. The 32-year-old announces he has added new dates to the tour, originally slated to wrap up on October 15, into 2023, with a run of Canadian dates. Jordan Davis and Kameron Marlowe will serve as Rhett’s opening acts for the new shows.

“It’s been an absolute blast being back out on the road this summer and we are so excited to take the tour to Canada next year,” Rhett says. “It feels like forever since we were last able to play for those fans. They always bring an insane amount of energy and we cannot wait to get up there and see them again.”

Rhett also announced the news on social media.

The father of four may not be able to have all of his daughters out on the road for many of his tour dates, but he did previously say he hoped to at least bring his oldest two for some of the shows.

“I do think that Willa Gray and Ada James are old enough now to travel with me, and to actually let dad sleep until like nine,” Rhett says. “If the other two came out there we’d be up at five. And we’ve done it before, and my voice struggles so bad when we’ve gotta get up super early on the road, So, I do plan on bringing Willa Gray and AJ out there a few times. And then my whole family will come to like Red Rocks and do some really cool bucket list moment type shows. But for the most part, we’ll be out there writing songs, and when the kids do decide to come out we’ll take melatonin.”

Rhett is currently enjoying another Top 20 hit, this time with “Half of Me,” a duet featuring Riley Green. The song follows his 19th No. 1 hit, with “Slow Down Summer.” Rhett and his father, Rhett Akins, wrote “Half of Me” along with Josh Thompson and Will Bundy. The song came together pretty fast, after Rhett asked Thompson if he wanted to go work out with him, and Thompson said that half of him wanted a cold beer, and the other half did too.

“I remember I was like, ‘We have to go write that right now,’” Rhett recalled. “So we went on the bus, and we literally sat there for 35 minutes, and this song fell out. And when we went into the studio to record it, I was like, ‘This song is so cool. I love it. Who could we get on here to feature?’ And Riley Green and I have become really good buddies over the last few years.

Tickets for the Canadian leg of Rhett’s Bring The Bar To You Tour will be available beginning on August 26. Find all of Rhett’s music and upcoming shows here.
