Trace Adkins is spending much of 2023 on the road. The Grand Ole Opry member just announced his 2023 Somewhere in America Tour, kicking off on February 10 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and performing all over the country, before wrapping up on October 14 in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Adkins announced the news on social media.

Adkins recently released “Love Walks Through Rain,” a collaboration with Melissa Etheridge. The song, which was used in the final episode of Monarch, is from Adkins’ 25-track The Way I Wanna Go album, released in 2021.
“I’ve done very few duets in my career with female vocals, because it’s hard to find a female vocal that blends with my voice, because my voice is so low,” Adkins told Everything Nash “But her voice is perfect. It’s the first female vocalist that I’ve ever worked with, and I thought that she blends so well with me. I couldn’t have dreamed that it would have come out any better than that. It was perfect.”
Adkins will be part of a tribute, Still Playing Possum: Music and Memories of George Jones, honoring the late George Jones. Adkins will be joined by Michael Ray, Tracy Lawrence, Brad Paisley, Jamey Johnson, Dierks Bentley, Justin Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Tanya Tucker, Sam Moore and Mark Chesnutt, among others. The show will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
