Walker Hayes Announces 2023 Duck Buck Tour With Ingrid Andress, BRELAND + More

Walker Hayes is heading back out on the road in 2023, bringing along a few talented artists The Alabama native will kick off his 22-city Duck Buck Tour on April 13 in Rosemont, Illinois, joined by Ingrid Andress for most dates, with BRELAND and Ray Fulcher as special guests for select dates. Chris Lane and Nicolle Gaylon will also join Hayes for two shows in May, including a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The Duck Buck Tour, which includes a stop at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre on June 23, will conclude on August 5 in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

“I can’t wait to get back out on tour,” Hayes says. “Headlining an arena tour for the first time this past year was a dream come true. The whole family was able to come out and the road has become our new home away from home. All the fans that have come out or will come out are making this dream a reality. I owe it all to them, and this next tour will be the biggest and best. I don’t take for granted that they spent their hard-earned money on my shows, and I plan to make it well worth it!”

The tour name comes from a line in “Country Stuff,” the title track of his latest album. The song says in part, “I like shooting ducks and bucks / I like mud tires on my trucks / I like old blue jeans, guitar strings and dirt roads.”

Hayes’ current single, “Y’all Life,” is from a forthcoming new record, after Country Stuff the Album yielded two hit singles with both “Fancy Like” and “AA.” The father of six also recently released another new song, “Face In The Crowd,” in honor of his wife, Laney.

“I can’t say how grateful I am for the last year of my life,” Hayes says of the inspiration behind the romantic tune, which he wrote with Emily Falvey and Tofer Brown. “It changed a lot for me and my family, but at the end of the day, money doesn’t fix anything. We’ve been doing this a long time, and we were happy when we were poor, too. We’re just lucky to have each other, and that’s really all that matters.”
