Brandon Davis’ Nostalgic ‘See You In It’ Debuts In the Top 30

Brandon Davis has been releasing love songs that reflect his relationship with his wife, Destiny, including “One of Those,” and a song appropriately called “Destiny,” among others. But now the father of four is back with a heartbreak song, with “See You In It,” out now. The song anded in the Top 30 on iTunes when it was released.

“This song is very special, just because it really is telling a story that I’m very happy that I got to help share,” Davis said on Facebook. “So I hope for everyone who’s connected with this song, you have felt it as much as we have.”

It was Destiny who encouraged her husband to pursue music full-time, after he nearly lost his life in a car accident. He began posting covers of songs on TikTok, catching the attention of plenty of country music fans, as well as Tim McGraw, who invited Davis to open for him on his  McGraw Tour 2022 last year.

“I sang the song — I call it ‘Barbecue Stain’ — ‘Something Like That,’ I sang ‘Something Like That’ with my mom in the car,” Davis told Everything Nash, recalling when McGraw called to personally invite him on tour. “I cannot tell you how many times until we burned out the CD that she had it on. It was just a moment that caught me off guard.”

Since Davis decided to pursue music full-time, neither he nor Destiny can believe how much has happened in the few short years since then.

“It’s crazy to believe we started this journey two years ago, two-and-a-half years ago,” Destiny reflected.

The singer-songwriter might be busier than ever, pursuing his dreams, but he is grateful for all of it, especially the people who have helped make those dreams come true.

“It’s going on three years now,” Davis reflected. “It’s insane to think about, ’cause it really doesn’t feel that way. When you start looking back at what all we’ve done, and where all we’ve been, what we’ve released and who we’ve met, I can remember every single encounter, every single moment, like it was yesterday. Yet here we are, well over three batches of 365 days of those yesterdays later, and it’s just insane.

“It’s insane, where all it’s carried us and what all we’ve gotten to do, and who all we’ve gotten to meet,” he continued. “The songs that have been written, the people that have been reached, and we want to keep doing it. I want to keep reaching you all through these stories, through these songs. There are so many more stories to tell, and it’s exciting to get to share them with you.”
