Carrie Underwood Announces Return of Las Vegas Residency in 2023

Carrie Underwood is heading back to Las Vegas. The country music superstar just announced new dates in 2023 of her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Theatre, due to the overwhelming response of fans to her engaging show.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to Resorts World Las Vegas next summer,” says Underwood. “REFLECTION is a show I’m so proud of and have so much fun performing. I love being out on the road with The Denim & Rhinestones Tour and look forward to returning to Vegas once that wraps, as it has become our home away from home where we get to play to audiences from all over the world.”

Underwood was the first performer at the Resorts World Theatre, part of a star-studded lineup that also included Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Celine Dion and more.

“It’s such a special honor to be the first artist to perform on this incredible stage in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination as Resorts World Las Vegas,” Underwood said at the time. “I’m so proud of this show and so happy to finally get to share it with the amazing audiences here in Las Vegas … It is very exciting to be the first person to play in this theater. We’re just excited to break it in.”

It was Underwood’s Las Vegas shows that inspired her to show off her newly-acquired aerial skills in both her “Ghost Story” video and her live shows while on her The Denim & Rhinestones Tour.

“I would see our aerialists perform every night in our show, so it came from a place of envy — jealousy and envy,” Underwood told Billboard. “They get to fly and it’s so beautiful, graceful and athletic. I was like, ‘I would like to try that sometime, just for my own self.’ Then I had the idea of wanting to do that for ‘Ghost Story’ and I got together with our choreographer Brenda and I could tell she was assessing me and seeing if I was strong enough to do that.

“I went home and worked on my own and I feel like I had to do a little bit of convincing everyone around me like, ‘I’m not going to fall. I feel really confident, I’ve got this, trust me,’” she continued. “Then everyone got excited about it. I worked a few more times with Brenda and felt very comfortable with it.”

See a list of new dates below. Tickets will be available beginning on Friday, December 9 at 10:00 AM PT. Underwood will resume her The Denim & Rhinestones Tour on February 2 in Miami, Florida. Jimmie Allen will continue to serve as her opening act on all dates. Find all of Underwood’s music and upcoming shows at  CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com.
