Home Free to Release ‘One Voice’ Collaboration With Billy Gilman

Home Free has a new collaboration coming out soon. The song, “One Voice,” with Billy Gilman, will be released on Friday, April 30, with the all-vocal group teasing the song on social media.

“Remember back in 2000 when [Billy Gilman] released ‘One Voice’ and completely took over the country world?” Home Free tweeted. “We fell in love with that song and hope you did, too.”

“One Voice” was the title track and debut single for Gilman, back in 2000, when he was just 12 years old. The song became a hit on the country and pop charts, with the album becoming a multi-platinum success.

“I am so honored that [Home Free Guys] collaborated with me on my first hit One Voice,” Gilman also tweeted. “The words mean the same if not more than when it was first released.”

Although Home Free has done plenty of humorous songs, including their “Sea Shanty” medley, “Never Gonna Give You Up” and more, they have also released several serious songs recently, including their recent collaboration with Jeffrey East, on “People.”

Home Free just announced that they will embark on their Warmest Winter Tour in December, after their originally-scheduled tour had to be postponed because of the pandemic.

“There is a special kind of indescribable magic that only exists between performers and audiences via live music,” Home Free member Tim Foust says. “It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since we’ve been able to share that connection with our fans. We’re more than ready to get this show back on the road.”

“It feels so great to finally be able to say we’re hitting the road again on tour,” says founding member, Adam Rupp. “And to top it off, we’re headed back to where it all began – my hometown of Mankato. We’ve performed there many times, but because of the break we’ve had, that show, in particular, is going to be all the more special.”
