Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans to Play the Grand Ole Opry Together

As the Grand Ole Opry continues to host their weekly Saturday night shows, albeit to empty seats, due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of country music’s biggest stars have taken the stage to perform via livestream. This week’s show is no exception, with Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans scheduled to perform together on Saturday, May 16.

Keith announced the good news on social media.

“I’m very excited to let you know I’m coming back to play the Opry on Saturday, May 16, with very special guests, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans. Kelsea and Morgan might even know each other, really well,” Keth quipped.

Last week, Blake Shelton helped his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, make her Opry debut, to sing their No. 1 hit, “Nobody But You.” Other Saturday night performers have included Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, and Craig Morgan and Luke Combs.

Keith just announced his next studio album, The Speed of Now, will be released on September 18.

“In October 2019 this album title came to me,” Keith said of his upcoming record. “I liked it because I felt like life was flying by so fast. But music has always been the place where it slows down and doesn’t even exist. I would never have imagined that, in 2020, this album title would take on a whole new meaning, and yet somehow still feel incredibly relevant.”

The Grand Ole Opry has hosted Saturday night shows for 4923 consecutive weeks. Shows with a live audience are currently suspended through June 6. The Grand Ole Opry’s Saturday performances are available to watch via both Circle and Gray TV stations, DISH Studio Channel 102, Sling TV, among other options. Find more information at Opry.com.
