Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll Lead CMT Music Awards Nominees

The CMT Music Awards nominees have been announced, with Lainey Wilson leading with a total of four nominations. Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll and Kane Brown follow with three each.

Wilson is nominated for Female Video of the Year, for “Heart Like A Truck,” as well as Collaborative Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year and the night’s highest honor, Video of the Year, all for her “wait in the truck” collaboration with HARDY.

Johnson is nominated for Male Video of the Year and Video of the Year, both for “Human,” as well as CMT Performance of the Year, for his “‘Til You Can’t” performance from the 2022 CMT Music Awards.

Jelly Roll is celebrating his first nominations at the CMT Music Awards, with nods in three categories, all for “Son of a Sinner.” Jelly Roll is nominated in Male Video and Breakthrough Male Video of the Year, as well as CMT Performance of the Year, the latter for his performance as part of CMT All Access.

Brown, who will host the show alongside  Kelsea Ballerini, is nominated for Collaborative Video of the Year and Video of the Year, both for his “Thank God” duet with his wife, Katelyn, as well as Male Video of the Year, for “Like I Love Country Music.”

Carrie Underwood,  who already announced she would perform during the ceremony, is continuing her streak as the most-nominated artist for Video of the Year. Underwood is nominated in the category for “Hate My Heart.” She is also nominated for Female Video of the Year, for “Ghost Story.”

Other nominees include Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay and Russell Dickerson, among others.
