Earlier this month, Matthew West and Anne Wilson dropped a surprise new collaboration of West’s No. 1 hit,, “Me On Your Mind,” which West and Wilson wrote, along with Jeff Pardo. Now, the two singers — and multiple Dove Awards nominees — have teamed up again, this time for a joint video celebrating their duet.

“I love this new version of ‘Me on Your Mind’ featuring Anne so much that I wanted to do a whole new music video for the song that represented what the song means to each of us,”  West explains. “Anne’s story of losing her brother, Jacob, five years ago is something that she shares and uses to bring comfort to so many people who have lost someone they love. I love how this video revisits both of our childhoods as a reminder that God has us on his mind from the very beginning. Through the highs and lows, He sees us, knows us, and walks with us.”

​​”Matthew West is one of my very favorite people to write and create music with,” adds Wilson. “We’ve been friends for a while but have never had the chance to record a song together until now. ‘Me On Your Mind’ is such a special song to me and I’m truly so grateful for all God is doing through it. Can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”

“Me On Your Mind” became West’s 12th No. 1 single, and also one of his favorite songs he has ever recorded.

“I’ve written a lot of songs these past couple of years with my friends Anne Wilson and Jeff Pardo for Anne’s debut record. Together we’ve experienced a special creative connection that’s not always easy to find,” West explains. “I had this idea for a song called ‘Me on Your Mind,’ that was rolling around in my head the whole time we were writing another song one day.

“As we finished that song and Anne began heading for the door, I told them about this other idea,” he continues. “She sat back down and we wrote a song that makes me cry every time I sing it! It was only fitting to put a version out featuring my friend, collaborator, and incredibly talented young artist, Anne Wilson. I am so excited for people to hear her voice on this!”

West will headline his A Night of Worship at the Mother Church with Matthew West and Friends on Sunday, August 21 at the Ryman Auditorium. The father of two will be joined by  Lainey Wilson, Pastor Allen Jackson, Tasha Layton, Jordan St Cyr, Lathan Warlick, along with a surprise special guest for the show.
